The journey began in the mid-1980s as Chubby’s Pizza, a neighborhood pizza spot that quickly became a local favorite. For decades, the location served as a gathering place for the East Hill community, built on simple food done well and familiar faces behind the counter.
Passed Forward with Purpose
In 2018, the Zoltak family purchased Chubby’s Pizza and rebranded it as East Hill Pizza. With a focus on made-from-scratch, homemade pizza and a warm, welcoming environment, they honored the legacy of the space while creating something new. Their commitment to quality, consistency, and community helped establish East Hill Pizza as a true neighborhood staple.
A New Chapter Begins
In 2025, East Hill Pizza entered its next chapter as the Deese Family, Kristen, Justin, Addison, Sabrina, and Zack Deese, became the stewards of this beloved neighborhood pizza shop.
The Deese family is committed to continuing the tradition of great food, great service, and a community-focused experience. Their goal is simple: protect what makes East Hill Pizza special while carrying the tradition forward for the next generation.
